Program Information

These publications provide information about the Landscapes Arena programs, and include Strategic and Program plans, posters, and other promotional material featuring the work that we do.

Environmental Water Allocation

More effective use of water resources is required in Australia to achieve the multiple aims of viable agriculture, industries, communities and environment.

Improved outcomes from limited water needs to be the focus of all water allocations, including environmental water. This requires a depth of biophysical, technical and institutional understanding that does not currently exist. This program aims to have researchers work with water managers and regional communities to build capacity and improved knowledge to deliver healthy working rivers. Through this program plan Land & Water Australia is seeking interest from prospective partners and investors interested in R&D partnerships to improve the outcomes achieved from environmental water allocations in Australia.

Land & Water Australia is also seeking interest from prospective investors interested in partnerships in research and development to improve the knowledge base for managing Australia's tropical rivers and associated catchments and estuaries.
